For more than a decade, across Sydney and Brisbane, we've created neighbourhood restaurants people are proud to call their own — built on generous hospitality, exceptional food and genuine connection. This October we're opening two new restaurants in Surry Hills — one French, one Japanese — and we're looking for an exceptional Head Chef to lead each kitchen from the very beginning.
About the Roles
These are rare opportunities to shape a restaurant before the first guest walks through the door. Working alongside our culinary leadership team, you'll develop the opening menu, recruit and mentor your team, and create the kitchen culture that will define your team for years to come. Once open, you'll lead every aspect of the kitchen — balancing creativity with commercial performance and delivering exceptional food every service.
You'll bring
- Head Chef experience in a premium or hatted high-volume venue
- A strong grounding in French or Japanese cooking
- Leadership built on respect - we take how our kitchens feel to work in as seriously as what they send out
- Commercial sharpness - you can read reports, write a roster, and hit a food cost without cutting corners
- Opening experience is a bonus, not a requirement
