Our operations started in Willetton with a single prime mover offering local services. Over time, as transportation demand grew, so did our fleet. We have since expanded our services to include PUD (Pick-Up and Delivery), interstate transport, and now operate a diverse range of trailers, including Straight Deck, Mezz Deck, and High Cube trailers to meet varying client needs. We provide one dedicated point of contact for every shipment, simplifying logistics and eliminating the need to manage multiple suppliers or handovers.
THE ROLE
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Truck Driver to join our growing transport team. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely operating heavy vehicles to carry out local and interstate deliveries using a variety of trailers including Straight Deck, Mezz Deck, and High Cube trailers.
Tasks Include:
- Safely operate and manoeuvre vehicles to designated loading and unloading locations in accordance with operational requirements and site procedures.
- Load, unload, and handle freight using appropriate equipment and safe manual handling techniques, ensuring the efficient movement of goods.
- Comply with all workplace health and safety regulations, transport legislation, and company policies during loading, unloading, and delivery operations.
- Conduct pre-start, post-trip, and routine vehicle inspections to ensure vehicles remain roadworthy, compliant, and safe for operation.
- Calculate and monitor load weights to ensure compliance with legal load limits and maintain correct load distribution for safe transportation.
- Secure, restrain, and protect freight using approved load restraint methods to prevent damage, loss, or movement during transit.
- Inspect goods against delivery documentation, verify quantities and condition of freight, and accurately complete delivery records and proof of delivery documentation.
- Maintain accurate transport records and promptly report any vehicle defects, incidents, delivery discrepancies, or safety concerns to management.
Skills and Qualifications required from the Truck Driver:
- Completion of an AQF Certificate II or III (ANZSCO Skill Level 4) OR in lieu of formal qualifications, at least one year of relevant industry experience may be considered.
- Additionally, Have at least one year of relevant full time or part time pro rata equivalent work experience as a Truck Driver within Australia in recent five years.
- A valid Heavy Rigid (HR), Heavy Combination (HC), or Multi Combination (MC) driver’s licence (depending on the nature of vehicle and duties assigned).
- Up-to-date understanding of Australian road rules, fatigue management legislation, and Chain of Responsibility (CoR) obligations.
- Proven ability to operate heavy vehicles safely and efficiently in both local and interstate transport settings.
- Strong capabilities in planning delivery routes, estimating travel time, and managing schedules to ensure timely deliveries.
- Ability to load, secure, and unload cargo safely and efficiently
- Familiarity with different types of trailers including Straight Deck, Mezz Deck, and High Cube.
- Skilled in completing logbooks and transport documentation accurately
- Basic mechanical knowledge for performing routine vehicle checks and minor troubleshooting.
- Strong communication skills for coordinating with dispatch, customers, and team members.
- High level of professionalism, reliability, and attention to detail.

Pay: $77,000.00 – $87,000.00 per year
