About the role
Due to continued growth, Contract Resources is seeking a motivated and organised Yard & Stores Coordinator to join our Melbourne, VIC operations on a permanent full-time basis.
Based at our Melbourne facility, this role will be responsible for coordinating yard and stores activities, ensuring equipment and materials are received, stored and distributed accurately and efficiently. You’ll play an important role in supporting our operational teams while maintaining high standards of safety, quality and service delivery.
Duties will include but not limited to
- Receiving all deliveries and checking the goods received
- Liaising with suppliers about deliveries and discrepancies in stock
- Keeping detailed records of shortages and spares of items
- Updating inventory management systems regularly
- Picking and delivering goods by using a forklift
- Organising and delivering goods from the store to the department that requires
- Picking and packing of Project Equipment
- Loading and unloading of goods/equipment
- Ensure collaborative interaction between all internal stakeholders and counterparts
- Ensure that goods are delivered accurately and on time
Requirements & Experience Needed
- Strong commitment to Work Health and Safety
- Strong problem-solving capabilities
- Have solid computer literacy
- Ability to work within a team environment while capable of working unsupervised
- Excellent communication skills
- Hands on approach and willing to get involved with equipment maintenance activities
- Full Australian work rights
- White Card
- High Risk Work License – Forklift (essential)
