National HR Manager

This is a key leadership role, partnering closely with executive stakeholders to lead HR transformation and strengthen our people practices across the organisation.
About the Role
Reporting to the Chief People Officer, the National HR Manager will be responsible for driving strategic HR initiatives while ensuring operational excellence across all HR functions.
You will lead a high-performing team and play a critical role in embedding contemporary, compliant, and people-focused practices across our national footprint.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and deliver HR transformation initiatives, enhancing systems, processes, and ways of working
- Provide strategic HR business partnering to senior leaders across the organisation
- Oversee employee relations, providing expert advice on complex and sensitive matters
- Manage and optimise People Connect to ensure a high-quality, responsive HR service model
- Drive initiatives that strengthen culture, engagement, and team effectiveness
- Develop and implement strategic remuneration frameworks aligned to organisational goals
- Ensure robust policy and governance frameworks, maintaining compliance with legislation and best practice
- Champion continuous improvement across HR processes, systems, and service delivery
About You
- Proven experience in a senior HR leadership role, ideally within a complex or multi-site environment
- Strong background in HR transformation and change management
- Demonstrated expertise in employee relations and industrial frameworks
- Experience managing HR service delivery models or shared services (e.g., People Connect)
- Strategic thinker with the ability to translate people strategy into practical outcomes
- Highly collaborative, with strong stakeholder engagement skills
- Passionate about building positive culture and high-performing teams
