At WISE, our Job Preparation Coaches play an integral role in making employment opportunities accessible for everyone.
As the Job Preparation Coach, you will deliver approved WISE Choices sessions in an interesting and engaging way which will result in an increase in readiness to work for our customers bringing them closer to securing sustainable employment.
You will also manage the Flex customers for the ESA.
Please note: there is an expectation of working at outreach sites associated with each office.

- Have full Australian working rights
- Hold a full Australian driver’s license
- Be willing to obtain a National Police Check
- Be able to pass a Working with Children Check

A day in a Job Preparation Coach role involves…
Building Customer Capability - 70%
- Deliver 25 hours of face-to-face customer training per week across the ESA, from the WISE approved WISE Choices Menu only (except social group activities), that improves customer readiness to work
- Maximise training attendance and satisfaction through delivering interesting, engaging and relevant content that includes evidence-based programs, job related training and social group activities
- Partner with Job Coach and Job Support Coach to ensure training options meet customer needs
Encourage flexible customers to attend group sessions and transition to the intensive phase

Customer Engagement - 15%
- Deliver high quality content that receives high levels of customer satisfaction
- Ensure each flexible customer is contacted each six weeks as per contract requirements
Case Manage all Flex customers in the ESA

Compliance - 10%
- Adhere to all compliance requirements
Meet all compliance standards

WISE Role Model - 5%
- Always behave in line with WISE Values
- Comply with WHS policies and procedures
- Deliver industry leading customer centricity to customers
Support site growth by attending pop-ups etc. when required

Essential Criteria
- 2 to 3 years’ experience in services industries such as nursing; banking and finance; insurance; travel; hospitality; and retail
- Experience facilitating groups and/or running training sessions with groups
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Commitment to continuous learning and professional development
- Knowledge and experience working with Microsoft 365
Hold a current Working with Children Check

Desirable Criteria
- Hold or are working toward relevant qualifications, for example, Training and Assessment, Business, Management, Community Services etc.
