MacKellar is continuing its partnership with Aeris Resources through the exciting new Constellation Project, located near Nyngan, NSW. As we expand operations across the region, we’re seeking experienced Diesel Fitters to join our high-performing maintenance team on a 7/7 rotating day and night roster.
This is an opportunity to secure long-term work on a new mining project with strong site leadership, and a team focused on safety, reliability, and getting the job done right.

About the Role
You will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a range of heavy earthmoving equipment to ensure maximum fleet availability and safe operation across site.
- Carrying out planned and breakdown maintenance
- Diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical faults
- Conducting inspections and preventative maintenance activities
- Maintaining accurate service and repair records
- Working safely and effectively within a production mining environment
About You
- Relevant Diesel Fitter / Heavy Vehicle Trade Qualification
- Previous experience working within mining or heavy earthmoving environments
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding abilities
- Commitment to safety and teamwork
- Ability to work rotating day and night shifts
- Current Driver’s Licence
