The position requires regular communication with a broad range of internal and external
stakeholders.
Strong verbal and written communication skills are required to prepare correspondence,
provide operational advice, manage stakeholder relationships and support service
delivery outcomes.
JUDGEMENT & PROBLEM SOLVING
The position exercises professional judgement in managing operational property matters,
stakeholder requests and portfolio administration activities.
The role is responsible for identifying operational issues, assessing priorities and
implementing practical solutions within established procedures and delegations.
The incumbent operates with a moderate degree of autonomy while escalating complex,
high-risk or sensitive matters to the Program Leader as required.
AUTHORITY
The position exercises delegated authority in relation to operational property portfolio
activities in accordance with Council policies, procedures and approved delegations.
The role coordinates operational property matters, contractor activities and financial
administration within approved frameworks and budgets.
The position provides recommendations to the Program Leader relating to operational
improvements, portfolio issues and stakeholder matters.
SKILL, EXPERIENCE, QUALIFICATIONS & BEHAVIOURAL COMPETENCIES
ESSENTIAL
- Relevant qualifications in property, real estate, land economics, business or a related
discipline, or equivalent demonstrated experience.
- Demonstrated experience in commercial property portfolio administration, leasing
coordination or tenancy management.
- Sound understanding of leasing practices, licence agreements and property-related
financial administration processes.
- Strong organisational, analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage
competing priorities.
- Demonstrated stakeholder engagement and communication skills with the ability to
work effectively with tenants, contractors, consultants and internal stakeholders.
- Experience preparing reports, correspondence and operational property
documentation.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while
exercising initiative and sound judgement.
- Current NSW Class C Driver Licence.
