As our business continues to grow, we are seeking a motivated and experienced Dental Technician to join our team and support implant, prosthetic, and digital dentistry workflows across Australia and New Zealand.

Position Title: Dental Technician
Employment Type: Full-Time
Location: Melbourne, Victoria, Australia
Remuneration
AUD $80,000 – $85,000 per annum (plus Superannuation)
Salary will be determined based on experience, technical skills, and industry knowledge.
The Role
The Dental Technician will provide technical support to clinicians, laboratories, and internal teams while assisting with implant prosthetic planning, digital workflows, and clinical education programs.
This position is ideal for a technician who enjoys working closely with dentists, learning advanced implant concepts, and contributing to education and customer support activities.
Key ResponsibilitiesTechnical & Clinical Support
- Provide technical support for implant and prosthetic cases
- Assist clinicians with treatment planning and product-related enquiries
- Review and manage digital case files, intraoral scans, and treatment planning requests
- Support digital dentistry workflows including surgical guides and CAD/CAM solutions
- Assist with troubleshooting prosthetic and technical issues
Customer & Laboratory Support
- Coordinate communication between clinicians, laboratories, and MegaGen teams
- Assist customers with implant prosthetic workflows and product applications
- Support failed implant investigations and preparation of related documentation
Education & Training
- Support educational courses, workshops, and hands-on training programs
- Assist with preparation of training materials and practical exercises
- Provide product and workflow training to customers and internal staff where required
Administration & Documentation
- Maintain accurate records of cases and customer interactions
- Update CRM systems and internal databases
- Prepare reports and documentation as required
Essential Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of dental laboratory or dental technician experience
- Experience in implant prosthetics and restorative workflows
- Understanding of digital dentistry workflows and intraoral scanning
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Full Australian work rights
- Fluent English communication skills
Desirable
- Experience with CAD/CAM systems and digital design software
- Experience supporting implant cases
- Experience delivering technical training or customer support
- Knowledge of guided surgery workflows
- Dental laboratory qualification or equivalent industry experience
