Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and implement indoor and outdoor learning programs in accordance with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS).
- Provide play-based learning activities to support children’s physical, emotional, social and cognitive development.
- Promote children’s language and communication skills through storytelling, songs, rhymes, role play and group activities.
- Observe, assess and document children’s progress and identify any developmental or wellbeing concerns.
- Ensure children’s health, safety, nutrition and wellbeing are maintained in a safe and supportive environment.
- Communicate effectively with parents and families regarding children’s learning and development.
- Attend staff meetings, parent interviews and professional development sessions as required.
- Support community and family engagement initiatives and maintain positive professional relationships.
- Supervise and mentor student teachers and trainee educators during placements.
- Use educational technology and digital learning tools to enhance learning experiences.
Skills and Experience Required:
- Bachelor Degree or higher qualification in Early Childhood Education, Children’s Services or a related field.
- Minimum one year of relevant work experience in Early Childhood Education or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of EYLF, NQS and child development practices.
- Excellent communication, leadership and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with children, families and educators in a professional environment.

Pay: $75,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year
