About the role
As a Host, you are the face of the restaurant and the first point of contact for our guests. You will create a warm and professional welcome, manage reservations, and ensure smooth guest flow throughout service. Your attention to detail and ability to stay organised in a fast-paced environment will be key to your success.
What you’ll be doing
- Greeting and welcoming guests with a polished and friendly approach
- Managing bookings and waitlists efficiently
- Seating guests while maintaining table rotation and service flow
- Handling phone enquiries and reservations with confidence
- Cashier duties, such as closing bills or service cash ups
- Supporting the front-of-house team to ensure a seamless guest experience
What we’re looking for
- Minimum 1 year experience in a guest-facing role within hospitality, hotel or tourism
- Experience in an à la carte environment is highly regarded
- Strong communication skills and professional presentation
- Experience with reservation systems
- Cash handling experience
- Current RSA certificate
- Flexible availability across a 7-day rotating roster
- A genuine passion for hospitality and guest experience
