About the Role
Reporting to the Production Superintendent, you will play a key role in the safe and efficient operation and maintenance of the CHPP while supporting plant performance and reliability targets.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Operating the CHPP in accordance with site procedures and production targets.
- Conducting routine inspections and identifying equipment defects.
- Performing breakdown maintenance and supporting planned maintenance activities.
- Monitoring plant performance and taking corrective action where required.
- Clearing blockages from chutes, pumps, screens, crushers, conveyors, sumps and associated plant equipment.
- Operating mobile equipment safely around fixed plant and stockpile areas.
Contributing to a strong safety culture and continuous improvement initiatives.

About You:
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- An Australian recognised Electrical or Mechanical trade qualification.
- Previous experience in mining, minerals processing or heavy industry.
- The ability to work a rotating day and night shift roster.
- A strong commitment to safety, teamwork and reliability.
- Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude.
Supervisor Training (S123) highly regarded but not essential.
