The Opportunity
We are seeking a dedicated Kitchen Assistant/Cook to join our team at Rathgar Lodge, North Coast Region. This is a great opportunity for someone passionate about food and service, with availability required across weekends and various shifts.
In this role, you will support the preparation and delivery of nutritious, high-quality meals for our residents while maintaining excellent kitchen and food service standards.
What You Will Bring
- Experience in planning, preparing, and cooking fresh meals.
- Skills in table service and general kitchen duties, including cleaning and clearing.
- Experience working in a fast-paced kitchen or bulk food preparation environment (desirable).
- Knowledge of Food Safety Standards and HACCP compliance.
- Experience in aged care settings (desirable).
- Current First Aid Certificate (desirable).
- Strong communication skills.
- A motivated team player with a positive attitude.
- Flexibility to work across various shifts and days.
