NTT Data are seeking an experienced Solution Architect to join a major enterprise AI initiative and play a key role in designing and delivering innovative, production grade AI solutions.
- Initial 3 month contract with extensions
- Perth CBD location – 4 days per week onsite
This is an exciting opportunity for a hands on architect who can lead technical design, provide architectural leadership to agile delivery teams, and help build scalable, secure and well governed AI capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Design end-to-end AI solution architectures, including data pipelines, model training and inference, integration layers and deployment strategies
- Lead technical design activities and provide architectural guidance throughout the delivery lifecycle
- Translate business requirements into technical designs, work packages, user stories, acceptance criteria and sprint deliverables
- Define solution architecture standards, development patterns and technical best practices
- Evaluate and recommend AI technologies, frameworks and platforms to support business outcomes
- Implement monitoring, observability and guardrails to ensure AI solutions are reliable, secure and compliant
- Conduct architecture reviews, risk assessments and proof-of-concept evaluations
- Collaborate with stakeholders across technology and business teams to deliver successful outcomes
- Mentor developers and provide technical leadership across the delivery team
- Drive continuous improvement in AI development practices and agile delivery processes
Key Requirements
You are an experienced Solution Architect with a strong background in enterprise technology and a genuine passion for AI and emerging technologies.
You will bring:
- 8+ years' experience in Solution Architecture, Technical Architecture or Technical Leadership roles
- At least 3 years' experience designing and delivering AI/ML or Generative AI solutions
- Proven experience leading technical teams within Agile delivery environments
- Strong understanding of cloud-native architectures across AWS, Azure or GCP
- Experience with containerisation and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
- Strong stakeholder engagement, communication and problem-solving skills
- Experience balancing strategic architectural decisions with hands-on technical design and delivery
Highly Regarded
Experience with any of the following will be highly advantageous:
- OpenAI, Anthropic, Grok or similar AI platforms
- RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) architectures
- LangChain, LlamaIndex, Hugging Face, PyTorch or TensorFlow
- AI governance, guardrails and responsible AI frameworks
- Portkey, NVIDIA NeMo Guardrails, Llama Guard or Azure AI Content Safety
- MLflow, Kubeflow, Azure ML, SageMaker or other MLOps/LLMOps platforms
- Monitoring and observability tools including LangSmith, Arize AI, Prometheus, Grafana or ELK
- Portainer, Docker, Ubuntu and CI/CD pipelines for AI and ML workloads
- Experience delivering AI solutions within on-premises environments
