Grounds & Garden Maintenance Crew Member — 2-3 Positions Available Valley Premium Property Maintenance — Lake Macquarie, Newcastle and Hunter Valley
Valley Premium Property Maintenance is growing , and we’re looking for 2-3 new team members to join our crew.
We care for some of the most prestigious properties in the region Hunter Valley vineyards, strata complexes around Newcastle that people call home, government contracts, and some of the largest commercial and acreage sites in the Hunter and Lake Macquarie area.
The role:
Help maintain and improve the presentation of our clients’ properties, including:
- Mowing, edging, trimming and maintaining lawns and outdoor areas
- Safely operating mowers, brush cutters and other grounds equipment
- Basic gardening and general grounds maintenance
- Completing equipment checks and basic maintenance
- Identifying hazards and following WHS and site safety procedures
- Working alongside the crew to complete jobs safely, efficiently and to a high standard
Hours & pay:
- Monday to Friday, 7am–3pm (some days may run slightly longer, paid)
- Saturday overtime when needed, paid
- Starting point: Beresfield
- Ongoing, consistent work with promotion opportunities for the right applicants
- Genuine opportunity to grow with the business as we take on more work
- Casual: $26.50–$33.00/hr, above award
What we’re after:
- Can-do attitude and genuine eagerness to work
- Physically fit
- Manual driver’s licence required
- Ability to tow a trailer (preferred)
- Must pass random drug and alcohol testing
- Well-presented — you’ll be representing us on client sites
- Experience preferred but not essential
