Located on Macquarie Street overlooking Sydney Harbour, the Club is entering an exciting growth phase under new leadership, with renewed focus on premium hospitality, dining, and member engagement.
The Role
Reporting to the Head Chef, the Chef de Partie plays a key role in delivering high-quality, consistent dining experiences across à la carte and function service. You will take ownership of your section, support junior staff, and uphold the Club’s high culinary and food safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and present dishes to exceptional standards in line with menus and recipes
- Manage and run a kitchen section across à la carte and functions
- Maintain strict food safety, HACCP, and hygiene standards
- Assist with stock control, ordering, and inventory management
- Supervise and mentor junior kitchen staff
- Ensure efficient service during high-volume periods
- Maintain kitchen cleanliness and operational standards
- Use specialised kitchen equipment safely and effectively
About You
- Minimum 2–3 years’ experience in a similar role in a fast-paced kitchen
- Certificate III (or higher) in Commercial Cookery
- Strong understanding of HACCP, food safety, and OH&S compliance
- Experience in both restaurant and function/banquet environments
- Strong leadership and teamwork skills
- Ability to perform under pressure with attention to detail
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- Positive, professional, and service-driven attitude

Pay: $80,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year
