JBuild Construction Group is seeking an experienced Site Foreman to join our team, working across remedial building projects throughout Sydney.
We specialise in remedial construction, including façade and balcony remediation, waterproofing, concrete repairs, window and door replacement and general building rectification works.
We are looking for someone who can take ownership of a project from start to finish, manage the day-to-day running of site and isn’t afraid to get involved when required.
The Role
You will be responsible for:
- Managing the day-to-day operation of multiple remedial building sites
- Coordinating subcontractors, trades, suppliers and deliveries
- Planning and programming works to keep projects on schedule
- Managing site setup, access and general site organisation
- Ensuring WHS requirements and site safety procedures are followed
- Reading and working from construction drawings, specifications and scopes of works
- Identifying issues on site and taking initiative to resolve them
- Liaising with clients, consultants, engineers, strata representatives and building managers
- Monitoring workmanship and ensuring works are completed to a high standard
- Ordering and coordinating materials
- Completing site documentation, photos, reports and general project administration
- Managing defects and ensuring works are properly completed before moving onto the next stage
- Being hands-on and assisting the team on site when required
About You
We are looking for someone who:
- Has previous experience as a Site Foreman or Site Manager.
- Experience in remedial building/construction is essential.
- Has strong knowledge of building and construction processes
- Is confident managing trades and subcontractors
- Has a good understanding of WHS and site safety
- Can read plans, specifications and scopes of works
- Is organised and able to manage multiple priorities
- Has strong communication skills
- Can problem-solve and make decisions on site
- Takes initiative without needing to be constantly directed
- Has high standards when it comes to workmanship and site presentation
- Is reliable, punctual and professional
- Is comfortable using a phone/computer for emails, photos, reporting and project documentation
Essential Requirements
- Remedial Construction industry experience
- White Card
- Current Australian driver’s licence
- Strong understanding of site safety and WHS requirements
- Full Australian working rights

We offer above-award wages, with a competitive salary package of approximately $120,000–$150,000 + super per annum, depending on experience, qualifications and ability to independently manage projects.
For the right candidate, salary is negotiable based on experience and proven capability.
Pay: $125,000.00 – $150,000.00 per year
