As Brock Solutions continues to grow and respond to the on-going requirements of our major clients, we need to add talent to our base of outstanding professionals. We are currently seeking an Operational Engineer to join our team of experienced professionals in Brisbane, QLD.

Working with other highly motivated Engineers, you will be involved with designing, programming, integrating, troubleshooting, and supporting new and existing automated controls systems.

Responsibilities may include:
Onsite presence at Brisbane Airport (BNE), Monday – Friday, regular office hours.
Providing problem resolutions and technical solutions to operational issues.
Working alongside the airport to inform on day-to-day operations with industry expertise .
Apply the latest innovations in data analytics to decision making and execution.
Focus on system optimization and performance tuning , reliability, and scalability .
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including analysts and software engineers, to integrate data solutions into business applications.
Site coordination r esponsibilities
Managing expectations and communication with customer
Coordinating with a global operations team for incident support escalation and support of software system upgrades.
Supporting the project teams in daily activities
Qualifications Required:
Customer-focused mindset
Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills
Strong organizational skills, with a n adap table and action-oriented approach
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Preferred Assets:
Programming skills in Ladder Logic or languages such as C, C#, VBA, SQL, or others
Familiarity with PLCs ( e.g. ControlLogix, Modicon , Siemens S7 , Omron )
Familiarity with SCADA s ( e.g. Ignition, FactoryTalk View )
Experience implementing real-time solutions
Familiarity with IT/Networking and database application
Experience with BHS system operations
Ability to read electrical schematics
