About the Role
As a Plant Technician, you'll play an important role in the safe and efficient production of asphalt at our Rosehill facility.
Working as part of a close-knit team, you'll receive training and support while developing valuable skills in plant operations and manufacturing.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting with the safe production and manufacture of asphalt
- Operating mobile plant and equipment
- Conducting basic maintenance and housekeeping activities
- Monitoring production processes and maintaining quality standards
- Working safely and following operational procedures at all times
- Supporting plant operations across day and night shifts
- Contributing to a positive, team-focused culture
What We're Looking For
We're more interested in your attitude and potential than extensive industry experience.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- A positive, can-do attitude and willingness to learn
- Strong reliability and commitment to attendance
- A valid driver's licence and reliable transport
- Flexibility to work day and night shifts as required
- A mechanical aptitude or interest in hands-on work
- The ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Basic technology skills and confidence learning new systems
- A strong commitment to safety
Highly Regarded
- Trade background or trade-related experience
- Experience within a manufacturing environment
- Front End Loader, Skid Steer, Forklift or other mobile plant experience
- White Card
Recent Year 12 school leavers, trade assistants, labourers and candidates seeking a long-term career pathway are strongly encouraged to apply.
