As the Sales & Service Manager for the Styling Suites, you will guide your team of Stylists to nurture and grow their existing client bases. You will be expected to lead by example and coach the team to ensure they exceed their service goals and sales KPI’s. You must be able to establish and maintain excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to engage people across the business. You will be an influential leader with strong time management and prioritising skills that can clearly communicate and drive change in a changing environment.
What YOUR DAY LOOKS LIKE
- You will lead by example by personally delivering on our service principles, engaging with customers, driving sales, and building a loyal customer base.
- You will drive the team to adhere to clienteling principles and associated tasks to build on awareness and engagement of the Bourke Street Mall Suite of Services.
- You will coordinate and support the delivery of the Styling Suite events calendar from bookings to implementation and post-implementation review.
- You will work collaboratively and build upon existing relationships with brand partners, external stylists, and other stakeholders to secure exclusive access to sales-driving initiatives and VIP customer experiences.
- You will coordinate and support the logistical implementation of approved events.
- You will work closely with the team to make sure they are delivering a service Like No Other.
- You will effectively manage, respond to & act upon customer feedback, and do so with a sense of urgency.
- You talk to the wealth of omnichannel services available to customers and can seamlessly combine the digital and physical David Jones experience.
What YOU’LL NEED TO THRIVE
- Strong coaching skills, including experience leading teams and empowering others to achieve results.
- Experience with CRM and NPS.
- A demonstrated passion for retail and a desire to provide great customer service.
- A solutions-focused mindset and the ability to provide innovation and effective customer solutions.
- Proven ability to motivate and lead teams and inspire an in-store experience Like No Other.
- Relevant merchandising and selling skills and key product awareness.
- Strong written, listening and spoken communication skills.
- Flexible and adaptable to a fast-paced and evolving environment.
