The Role
We need a versatile
Estimator / Supervisor to bridge the gap between project pricing and on-site delivery. You will own the numbers and own the field—driving commercial accuracy while leading trades on-site. This dual responsibility ensures total project continuity from the initial budget to final handover.
Your Responsibilities
- Accurate Estimating: Quantify materials, secure sharp supplier quotes, and build detailed cost estimates.
- Seamless Handovers: Deliver rock-solid cost summaries and documentation to the delivery team.
- On-Site Supervision: Command daily site operations, drive schedules, and enforce top-tier safety.
- Progress Tracking: Monitor site momentum to ensure work hits scope, stays on schedule, and beats expectations.
- Team Coordination: Work closely with internal trades, project managers, and external consultants.
- Upfront Assessment: Lead initial site meetings and scoping sessions to nail down project requirements.
- Quality Control: Enforce C+M’s premium quality standards and strict compliance with Australian Building Standards.
What You Need
- Dual Expertise: Proven track record in both construction estimating and site supervision.
- Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of Australian building standards and WHS legislation.
- Leadership Drive: High energy, a sharp work ethic, and the ability to juggle competing priorities.
- Communication: Elite stakeholder management and clear communication skills.
- Credentials: Building trade or construction qualification, and a current Australian driver’s licence.
- Tech Savvy: Intermediate computer literacy.
- Essential: Current Australian motor vehicle licence
- Qualification: Building Trade or Construction Qualification
