Qualified Bakers are responsible for:
- Producing high-quality products to delight our customers.
- Inspecting equipment cleanliness and premises before production begins.
- Weighing ingredients as per recipe.
- Setting doughs to the required standards.
- Moulding the doughs to the required shapes.
- Spreading or placing other flavor ingredients onto the doughs or the bread as per recipe.
- Rolling, cutting and proving the doughs under required temperature and time.
- Loading the ovens, baking bread to time and temperatures.
- Rresenting breads according to finish product specifications.
- Support and provide guidance for junior baking staff.
- Assisting the Manager with stock control and production expenses, ingredient quality checks and provide feed back.
- Maintaining cleanliness of bakery and equipments.
- Adhering to WHS and Food Safety practices
- Follow workplace policies and procedures at all times.
To be considered for this role you need to
- Be available for early morning shift.
- Be available to in work at weekends.
- Minimum three years’ experience in a fast-paced, bread-baking environment.
- Ability to perform proper and safe operation of bakery equipments and utensils
- Be reliable & be prepared to work as part of a team
- Excellent communication skills and punctual and well-presented
