Seafolly is seeking an experienced Senior Product Developer with specialist swimwear expertise to join our product team.
Reporting to the Head Swimwear Designer, you will partner throughout the development process to bring seasonal collections to life, ensuring the right balance of fit, innovation and commerciality. The ideal candidate will have strong swimwear product development experience, with expertise in fit, fabrication, construction and technical specifications, and the ability to identify and resolve technical issues throughout development.

You will:
Lead the end-to-end development of seasonal swimwear collections, ensuring all products are delivered on time, within budget and aligned to the brand vision.
Partner closely with the Head Swimwear Designer to translate design concepts into commercially viable products, maintaining the integrity of the original design intent throughout development.
Drive product innovation by identifying new fabrication, construction and fit solutions that enhance performance, comfort and customer appeal.
Manage the development process from initial concept through to final production, coordinating samples, approvals and key milestones with internal and external stakeholders.
Provide expert technical guidance on swimwear fit, fabrication, garment construction and finishing techniques to ensure products meet Seafolly's quality standards.
Review and interpret patterns, specifications and technical documentation, ensuring accurate execution and clear communication with suppliers and manufacturers.
Proactively identify, troubleshoot and resolve product development, fit and construction issues, implementing solutions that minimise delays and support commercial outcomes.
Collaborate with design, sourcing, production and supplier partners to deliver high-quality swimwear collections that meet customer expectations, business objectives and market trends.
You have:
Extensive experience in swimwear product development within premium, fashion-led or lifestyle brands, with a strong understanding of the end-to-end product lifecycle.
Advanced technical expertise in swimwear construction, fabrication, elastics, linings, support structures and finishing techniques.
Strong knowledge of garment fit and patternmaking, with the ability to identify, analyse and resolve fit and construction challenges.
Proven experience leading fit sessions, providing clear technical feedback and delivering commercially focused fit comments.
Highly proficient in creating and managing tech packs, garment specifications and Bills of Materials to support accurate product execution.
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across Design, Sourcing, Production and supplier partners.
Strong project management capabilities, able to balance multiple product categories, priorities and seasonal deadlines while maintaining quality standards.
Detail-oriented, organised and solutions-focused, with a genuine passion for swimwear and a commitment to delivering exceptional fit, quality and customer experience.
