Remuneration: Up to $220,000 total remuneration package (inclusive of employer superannuation contributions), depending on skills and experience.

The Opportunity
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Director, Diplomas to lead the operational, academic, and strategic direction of our Diplomas program – a critical pathway to Monash University. In this senior leadership role, you will champion an exceptional student experience, drive teaching excellence, and nurture innovative program delivery to ensure students transition seamlessly into degree programs.
As a key leader within the College, you will optimise infrastructure, processes, and practices to maintain academic quality while achieving key commercial, financial, and growth objectives.

Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership: Shape and execute the strategic vision for the Diplomas program, ensuring all teaching and learning activities align with institutional
Academic Excellence & Quality Assurance: Oversee curriculum development, assessment practices, moderation, and compliance with external regulatory frameworks to uphold rigorous academic standards.
Continuous Innovation: Drive a culture of innovation by analysing teaching practices, leveraging data insights, and evaluating program outcomes to implement evidence-based improvements.
Student Success & Transition: Develop and implement targeted strategies to support student academic success, focus on managing students at risk, and optimise transition rates to Monash University.
Stakeholder & Partnership Management: Build and maintain high-impact partnerships with Monash University faculties, offshore providers, and internal stakeholders to ensure a seamless curriculum pathway.
People & Resource Leadership: Lead workforce planning and resource management and oversee recruitment and onboarding to deliver impactful, efficient operations.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will ideally bring:
A postgraduate qualification in Education (or similar) or Business Management combined with relevant teaching experience
Extensive experience leading and managing academic programs, with a track record of driving cultural change, managing staff professional development, and inspiring high-performing teams.
Advanced problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to leverage data insights to monitor student performance, program outcomes, and operational effectiveness.
