We're looking for an experienced kitchen hand who understands the pace and standards of a busy restaurant.
This is not an entry-level position.
We're after someone who can work quickly, stay organised, keep the kitchen clean, and take initiative without needing constant direction.
You must have:
- Previous commercial kitchen or dishwashing experience
- Ability to work efficiently during busy service periods
- Strong understanding of kitchen cleanliness and hygiene standards
- Reliable transport and good availability
- A positive attitude and strong work ethic
Your responsibilities will include:
- Operating and managing the dishwashing area
- Washing dishes, glassware, cookware, and kitchen equipment
- Keeping kitchen and storage areas clean and organised
- Assisting chefs with basic food preparation if required
- Receiving and putting away deliveries
- Taking out rubbish and maintaining cleaning schedules
- Supporting the kitchen team wherever needed
