About the role
Reporting to the General Manager – Franchising, the Franchise Sales Manager is responsible for identifying, attracting and securing new franchise partners across the Craveable Brands portfolio. This is an end-to-end sales role where you'll build relationships, qualify opportunities and guide candidates through the franchise investment journey from initial enquiry to signed agreement.
Success in this role is about more than making a sale. You'll be trusted to identify the right owner-operators for our brands, balancing commercial outcomes with long-term franchise network success. Your ability to quickly assess candidates, communicate a compelling growth opportunity and build confidence in a future store's potential will be critical to our continued expansion.
This role can be based in Sydney or Brisbane and offers flexible hybrid and remote working arrangements.
Key Activities Include
Franchise Sales & Business Growth
- Manage the full franchise sales lifecycle from lead qualification through to franchise award.
- Present and promote new and existing franchise opportunities across the Craveable Brands network.
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified franchise prospects.
- Achieve franchise development targets that support the organisation's growth strategy.
Franchise Partner Recruitment
- Identify and engage high-quality owner-operator candidates.
- Evaluate financial capability, business acumen and cultural alignment.
- Conduct discovery meetings and guide candidates through the assessment process.
- Ensure prospective franchisees have a strong understanding of the opportunity and expectations.
Relationship Management
- Build trusted relationships with franchise candidates and key stakeholders.
- Act as the primary point of contact throughout the candidate journey.
- Deliver an exceptional experience that reflects the strength of the Craveable Brands portfolio.
- Partner closely with internal teams to support successful franchise awards.
Pipeline Management & Reporting
- Maintain accurate records, activity tracking and forecasting through Salesforce.
- Monitor recruitment conversion metrics and sales performance.
- Identify market opportunities and recommend strategies to improve franchise growth.
- Provide regular reporting and insights to senior leadership.
About You
Essential
- Demonstrated success in franchise sales, business development, recruitment in retail franchising or multi-site business environments.
- Proven experience managing complex sales processes and converting qualified opportunities into results.
- Strong ability to assess people, identify quality candidates and build meaningful long-term relationships.
- Highly developed communication, influencing and negotiation skills.
- Experience managing multiple opportunities simultaneously while maintaining high levels of customer engagement.
- Strong commercial acumen and the ability to communicate investment opportunities with confidence.
Desirable
- Previous experience selling franchise opportunities or greenfield business opportunities.
- Experience recruiting franchisees, business owners or owner-operators.
- Salesforce CRM experience.
- Tertiary qualifications in Business or a related discipline.
