About the role and where you will be working:
Frank Prendergast House is seeking experienced Therapy Assistants to join our team on a permanent part time basis working 37.5 hours per fortnight. (5x shifts per fortnight.)
Located in Success, in Perth’s southern suburbs, Frank Prendergast House has been supporting the local community since 2002. Our welcoming residential care facility is home to up to 73 residents and features spacious corridors, multiple lounge areas for residents and visitors, and enclosed walkways connecting the homes.
Your responsibilities will include:

Organise the activities planner and conduct activities

Support appropriate access to the resident's current interests

Liaise with community groups and schools to support activities

Work as part of a team

Show compassion & exercise patience

Treat our residents & their family with respect
About you:
We’re looking for a passionate Therapy Assistant with a Certificate III or equivalent in Individual Support. If you have experience in aged care and a genuine interest in supporting others, we’d love to hear from you too.
You’re someone who enjoys building connections, whether it’s chatting with residents, engaging with families, or collaborating with colleagues. Teamwork comes naturally to you, and you bring warmth and positivity to every interaction.
