A Day in the Life, with Uniting Aged Care
What you’ll be doing in this role
As the Village Manager, you’ll work closely with Village residents and local businesses to nature a thriving, inclusive environment. In this role, you will manage all day-to-day aspects of independent living accommodation including the coordination of maintenance, refurbishment work, sales and leasing and resident activities with the relevant Teams.
Utilising your extensive Aged Care or Village Management experience, this role requires you to be passionate about community development and have a vision for sustainable growth.
Key role responsibilities
- Drive highly engaged, resident-led, contented, and vibrant communities.
- Facilitate the independent living of residents by delivering on-site services in line with organisational processes and policies.
- Ensure the Villages are maintained at the level required to deliver a high-quality standard of living for residents by coordinating with Asset Management and Minor Works Teams.
- Maintain optimum occupancy levels by undertaking face to face ongoing resales and letting activities in line with organisational policy and implementing new sales initiatives in conjunction with Sales Team
- Support village operation by managing client information systems.
Who we’re looking for
Typically, this role requires deep experience and knowledge of the Aged Care sector or prior Village Management experience, as well as:
- Strong administration and organisational skills
- Experience in delivery of person-centred customer service preferably within the Aged Care industry
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- Solid business acumen, understanding of budgets and financial systems/ processes,
- Sound all-round computer skills with the ability to easily pickup and adapt to new systems or technology.
