We are seeking a dedicated, compassionate and reliable NDIS Support Worker to assist two of our clients living in Ballarat. Work will be one-on-one with our clients to provide assistance with community participation, daily living support and light cleaning. Previous Support Work experience and relevant qualifications as well as experience with ASD, OCD and vision impairment are preferred but not required. Ability to consistently attend all/some of these shifts every week is a requirement.
Regular weekly shifts will be:
Monday 9:00am - 1:00pm
Tuesday 11:00am - 1:00pm
Thursday 1:30pm - 3:30pm
Friday 9:00am - 12:00pm, 5:00pm - 7:00pm
Duties:
- Domestic assistance (cooking/baking and cleaning)
- Community participation
- Transportation
- Assistance with completing home exercises
- Appropriate documentation and completion of shift notes
- Supporting client to become more independent and achieve their goals
Requirements:
- Victorian drivers license and vehicle with comprehensive car insurance
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check, National Police Check and Working with Children Check
- Completion of NDIS Worker Orientation Module
- Current First Aid and CPR certification
- Rights to work in Australia
