We pride ourselves on delivering high-quality food and excellent service to our customers. We are currently seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our team, specializing in Thai cuisine.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook a variety of traditional Thai dishes, including stir-fries, curries, soups, and grilled items.
- Develop and create new menu items that reflect the essence of Thai cuisine.
- Ensure that food quality and presentation meet our restaurant's high standards.
- Manage kitchen operations, including stock control, inventory, and food costs.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
- Supervise and train junior kitchen staff, ensuring consistency in food preparation and presentation.
- Collaborate with the restaurant management to maintain high standards of food service.
- Monitor and ensure that portion sizes and presentation are consistent with our brand’s requirements.
- Work closely with suppliers to source high-quality ingredients.
Skills and Experience:
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Chef specializing in Thai cuisine (preferably in a busy restaurant environment).
- Strong knowledge of traditional Thai cooking techniques and ingredients.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Good communication and leadership skills to supervise and guide kitchen staff.
- Passionate about food with attention to detail in both preparation and presentation.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and ability to maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment.
- Relevant culinary qualifications or certification is preferred
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70,000.00 – $80,000.00 per year
