Lithgow Hospital is seeking a motivated and customer focused individual to join our administrative team, providing essential reception and clerical support in a dynamic healthcare environment. This role involves working collaboratively with team members to deliver high quality front line services, ensuring a welcoming and professional experience for patients and visitors.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing incoming calls and enquiries, maintaining accurate and up to date records in iPM and Cerner FirstNet, and supporting patient admissions, transfers, and discharges. You will also be involved in database management, word processing, data collection, and other administrative tasks requiring strong written, verbal, and numerical communication skills. Flexibility is key, as the role includes rotating duties within the administrative department and contributing to ongoing quality improvement activities.
