Casual | SCHADS Award | 4 Hours/Day (Ongoing)
Abstract Supports is seeking 2–3 reliable, trauma-informed Support Workers to form a small, consistent team for a woman living independently in Bankstown NSW.
The participant values trust, predictability, and consistency, and prefers a stable support team rather than rotating workers. Your role will be to support her daily routines, build independent living skills, and help her maintain stable housing and community engagement.
About the Role
You will provide 1:1 support for approximately 4 hours per day, assisting with:
- Daily living tasks and basic personal care
- Household routines and tenancy maintenance
- Shopping, appointments, and community access
- Budgeting, time management, and routine building
- Emotional regulation and maintaining engagement
- Supporting safe, structured daily routines
We Are Looking For
- Experience in disability, mental health, or community services
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport at the participant’s pace
- Consistency and reliability — essential for this role
- Trauma-informed practice and professional boundaries
- Calm, patient, supportive approach
- Ability to follow routines and encourage independence sensitively

- Current First Aid & CPR
