We’re looking for passionate and confident Lead Educators to join one of Journey Early Learning’s newest centres, Echuca West .

About the Role
As a Lead Educator, you’ll lead your learning environment, support your team and create engaging, play-based experiences that reflect the interests, strengths and individual needs of each child.
You’ll build strong relationships with children and families, lead programming and documentation, and work closely with the Centre Leadership Team to create a positive, collaborative learning environment.
We’re welcoming applications from experienced Lead Educators acro ss Nursery, Toddler, Kindergarten spaces who are ready to bring their passion, ideas and leadership to our centre.
✅ Key Responsibilities
Lead the day-to-day operation of your learning environment
Create engaging, play-based learning experiences aligned with the EYLF
Build strong relationships with children, families and colleagues
Lead programming, observations, documentation and reflective practice
Mentor and support educators within your team
Create a safe, inclusive and engaging environment for children
Maintain high standards of health, safety and safeguarding
Contribute to a positive team culture
About You
Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (essential)
Completed National Child Safety Training + Victorian Child Protection Training
Experience as a Lead Educator or a confident educator ready to step into leadership
Strong understanding of child development and play-based learning
Passion for creating meaningful learning experiences for children
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
Current First Aid, Asthma & Anaphylaxis certifications
Experience with Storypark or similar platforms is highly regarded
