We are currently seeking a casual Support Worker to provide in-home support for a client located in Merrylands.
Position Details
- 4-hour shift per week initially
- Opportunity for additional hours in the near future as support needs increase
- Casual employment
Role Responsibilities
- Assisting with meal preparation and cooking
- Providing personal care support
- Assisting with domestic tasks, including cleaning and general household duties
- Supporting the client’s wellbeing in a respectful, professional, and culturally sensitive manner
- Building a positive and supportive relationship with the client
Preferred Requirements
- Ability to speak Dari and English
- Experience in disability support, aged care, nursing, or a related field (preferred)
- Compassionate, reliable, and respectful approach to care
- Current driver's licence and reliable transport (preferred)
