As a Mechanic, your key responsibilities will include:
Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults using diagnostic equipment,
testing devices, and manufacturer software.
Inspecting vehicles to identify worn, damaged, or defective mechanical
components.
Dismantling and repairing engines, transmissions, steering systems,
suspension assemblies, braking systems, and other mechanical components
on fleet vehicles.
Repairing or replacing faulty parts and components.
Reassembling engines and mechanical systems, ensuring repairs meet
manufacturer specifications.
Performing scheduled servicing and preventative maintenance on fleet
vehicles.
Using electronic diagnostic equipment and scan tools to identify engine
management and electrical system faults.
Completing repair orders, inspection reports, and maintenance records
accurately and in a timely manner.
Maintaining a safe, clean, and organised workshop environment.
Pay: $85,000.00 – $90,000.00 per year
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Vineyard NSW 2765: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
Education:
- Certificate I - IV (Preferred)
Experience:
- Mechanic: 3 years (Preferred)
