JDE Homes is a premium South Australian builder specialising in architecturally designed, custom luxury residences. Our projects include: Multi-level high-end custom homes; large-scale concrete structures and rendered façade systems; bespoke internal decorative finishing systems; feature textures and architectural surface finishes; high-spec ceilings and custom joinery spray finishes. We are seeking experienced and dedicated Solid Plasterers to join our dynamic team in Adelaide. This full-time role involves working on various commercial construction sites across South Australia, delivering high-quality plastering work that aligns with architectural and building specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan the plasterboard installation layout and prepare wall and ceiling surfaces accordingly.
- Measure and cut materials with accuracy before securing panels to designated frameworks.
- Install insulation and vapour barriers as part of internal wall and ceiling systems.
- Fix plaster-related features such as mouldings, cornices, ceiling panels, and trims.
- Apply base and finishing compounds to joints, screw holes, and surface imperfections.
- Smooth and finish surfaces using various tools, including sanders, trowels, and brushes. - Mix plaster, render, or cement-based materials and apply them consistently across walls and ceilings.
- Ensure angles, corners, and edges are plumb, level, and professionally finished.
- Create aesthetic surface textures or finishes based on architectural design or client specifications.
- Apply specialist materials for soundproofing, thermal insulation, or fire resistance when required.
Requirements:
- Australian citizens and permanent residents are encouraged to apply.
- Required Experience: Minimum of 3 years as a Solid Plasterer in commercial construction.
- Proven expertise in solid plastering techniques and commercial construction.
- Strong knowledge of materials, tools, and safety practices.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and construction plans.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Pay: $80,000.00 per year
