About the Role
An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Operations & Maintenance Supervisor to join Ventia at the Australian Marine Complex Common User Facility (AMC CUF) in Henderson, WA.
Ventia delivers 24/7 operations, asset and facility management services across this strategically important marine and industrial precinct, supporting Defence, marine, energy and resources customers. In this role, you will lead maintenance activities, coordinate operations, manage contractors and engage key stakeholders to ensure the safe, reliable and efficient delivery of services across the facility.
The Operations & Maintenance Supervisor will oversee the day-to-day maintenance and operations of the AMC CUF, ensuring assets, contractors and facility users are managed safely, efficiently and in compliance with all requirements. Working closely with stakeholders, the role leads maintenance programs, contractor performance, operational delivery and continuous improvement initiatives to ensure safe, reliable and cost-effective facility operations.
Key Responsibilities
As the Operations & Maintenance Supervisor, you will:

Lead the delivery of planned, preventative and corrective maintenance programs, as well as minor capital works projects across the facility.

Develop scopes of work, contractor packages and tender documentation for maintenance and improvement activities.

Manage maintenance projects from planning through to completion, including budgeting, scheduling, contractor coordination and reporting.

Monitor contractor performance to ensure work is delivered safely, on time, within budget and to the required quality standards.

Conduct inspections, condition assessments and maintenance reviews to drive asset performance and reliability.

Coordinate facility operations, user bookings and mobilisation/demobilisation activities.

Manage operational records, reporting, invoicing data and asset utilisation information.

Support the procurement of plant, equipment and services required to meet operational needs.

Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, contractors, government agencies and key stakeholders.

Act as a key point of contact for maintenance, operational and facility-related matters.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will bring experience in maintenance, facilities, asset management or project delivery within a complex operational environment, with the ability to coordinate maintenance programs, manage competing priorities and deliver operational outcomes safely and efficiently.
You will also possess:

A trade, engineering, asset management, facilities management or related qualification, or equivalent industry experience.

Strong knowledge of maintenance management, contractor management and asset management practices.

Experience delivering maintenance programs, minor capital works and operational improvement initiatives.

Strong planning, budgeting, organisational and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication skills and the ability to build effective relationships with customers, contractors and stakeholders.

Proficiency across Microsoft Office and maintenance management systems, with SAP, Power BI or Project experience highly regarded.

Experience in maritime, defence, industrial or infrastructure environments will be advantageous.
