About the Role
The ICT Business Analyst will work closely with management, operational teams and system users to analyse business requirements, identify opportunities for process and system improvements, and develop practical technology solutions that support Fantasy Caravan's manufacturing, retail, wholesale and corporate operations.
The successful applicant will act as a key link between business users and technical resources, ensuring that business requirements are clearly documented and translated into effective system functionality.
Key Responsibilities
The ICT Business Analyst will be responsible for:
- Consulting with management and business users to identify, analyse and document business and system requirements.
- Reviewing existing business processes, procedures, workflows and information systems to identify inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement.
- Analysing business requirements and translating them into functional specifications and system requirements.
- Evaluating existing systems and recommending improvements to functionality, integration, usability and performance.
- Working with users and technical personnel to design and implement system improvements.
- Developing business process models, data flow diagrams and system specifications to support system development and modification.
- Assisting with the planning, coordination and implementation of technology and business systems projects.
- Preparing project plans, identifying resources and assisting with project cost and implementation requirements.
- Developing and implementing system and user acceptance test plans to ensure system quality and integrity.
- Identifying system issues and coordinating with relevant technical personnel to resolve functional and operational problems.
- Supporting the implementation and deployment of functional technology solutions across the business.
- Developing user manuals, system documentation, training materials and process documentation.
- Conducting user training and providing ongoing guidance and support to staff.
- Acting as a central reference point for system functionality, business requirements and technology-related business processes.
- Working with users and developers to improve the functionality and usability of websites, applications, databases and internal business systems.
- Monitoring system performance and gathering feedback from users to identify further improvement opportunities.
- Ensuring proposed system solutions align with business objectives and operational requirements.
About You
- Strong background in ICT business analysis, systems analysis or related ICT roles.
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business language.
- Experience in enterprise systems, data governance and process optimisation.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Strong documentation, analytical and problem-solving capability.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree or higher qualification in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Systems or a closely related discipline; or
- A relevant qualification below bachelor's degree level together with at least 6 years of relevant professional experience in ICT business analysis, systems analysis, information systems, data management, data security or a closely related field.

- Demonstrated experience analysing business processes, identifying inefficiencies and recommending system and process improvements.
- Demonstrated ability to gather, document and communicate business and system requirements.
- Demonstrated experience developing functional specifications and system documentation.
- Experience with system testing, implementation and user training.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and stakeholder-management skills.
- Ability to work effectively with business users, management and technical personnel.
