The Ideal Candidate:
Displays a keen interest in protected area management, conservation and natural resource management.
Demonstrates strong leadership, contributing to plan, prioritise and manage multiple programs and competing tasks with precision across large or dispersed areas.
Builds and maintains effective relationships, with the ability to support, supervise and share skills with a diverse group of people. Acts with integrity and professionalism, with an understanding of relevant legislation, policy and regulatory frameworks.
Communicates clearly and effectively, tailoring messaging to suit audiences and managing stakeholder expectations.
Demonstrates sound knowledge of workplace health and safety, compliance, emergency response, and business management processes (HR, financial and reporting).
Supports and promotes a culture of safety, equity, diversity, respect and inclusion.
