The Role
We are now seeking a talent and experienced Sous Chef to join our team.
Working in a well-established kitchen, planning, preparing and serving quality Italian cuisine with a modern coastal twist, your responsibilities will include:
· Assisting with menu planning and design
· Delivering high-quality cuisine
· Managing and training kitchen staff including directing food preparation
· Monitoring inventory and stock control
· Ensuring staff compliance with HACCAP regulations and safety standards
The ideal candidate will have:
· Relevant qualifications no less than a Diploma level, plus 2 years full time relevant employment experience
· Knowledge and passion for contemporary and traditional cuisine
· Ability and experience to work autonomously in a fast-paced commercial kitchen with a talented kitchen staff
· Flexibility with work split shift, including evenings and weekends
· Demonstrated strong customer focus
