Il Lido is seeking an experienced and driven hospitality leader to take full accountability for our iconic beachfront venue as General Manager. This is a senior leadership role responsible for overseeing all aspects of the business—people, performance, and profitability—while continuing to elevate the guest experience and brand reputation.
Located on picture-perfect Cottesloe beach, Il Lido comprises a highly awarded Italian canteen and wine bar alongside a high-volume espresso operation. With rustic Italian cuisine and a nationally recognised wine program, this is a complex, fast-paced venue requiring a leader who thrives under pressure and leads from the front.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Leading, mentoring, and developing a high-performing management team
- Driving financial outcomes, including revenue growth, cost control, and labour optimisation
- Maintaining exceptional service standards across all dayparts, including the extensive wine program
- Owning the guest experience and ensuring consistency at scale
- Working closely with ownership on strategy, innovation, and continued growth of the business
We are seeking a commercially minded operator with a proven track record in senior hospitality leadership. You will bring strong organisational discipline, clear communication, and the ability to build culture, accountability, and momentum across the team.
This role is suited to someone who is ambitious, hands-on, and ready to take full ownership of the flagship venue within the portfolio.
