Accounts Assistant - Contract Role - Maternity Cover
Forkhire is an Australian owned company specialising in Hire, Sales and Service of all materials handling equipment.
We are looking for a detail oriented, reliable and pro-active person to assist with accounts payable and general office administration.
This is a full-time, onsite contract role, for 10 - 12 months, covering maternity leave, with the potential for extension or transition into a permanent position.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Data Entry of Supplier Invoices
- Reconciliation of monthly supplier statements
- Prepare invoices for payment
- Manage supplier queries, by phone and email
- Credit Card Statement reconciliation to accounting software
- Training of our accounting software will be provided
- Experience in Microsoft Office products required
- Proven experience in a similar role
- Previous accounts and data entry experience essential
- General administrative tasks to support office operations
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation
- Liaising with internal staff as required
- Work close to home - on street parking available.
- Location: Smithfield – Close to Bus / T-way
- Work hours are 7:30 am to 3:36 pm (can be negotiated for the right applicant)
