Senior Network Engineer

FinXL is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to join our consulting team and be deployed with a leading banking client on a core-banking application migration project. In this key role, you will design, implement, and hand over critical networking constructs to support large-scale migration phases. FinXL is also able to take over existing visas and provide sponsorship for consultants.
Responsibilities
- Deploy and configure complex networking constructs across Cisco ASA and ACI.
- Translate high-level design specifications into concrete firewall configurations.
- Execute passive and canary deployments and validate rule sets.
- Configure and manage F5 GTM and LTM appliances for traffic distribution.
- Prepare and execute rigorous change control and rollback procedures.
- Ensure high availability and disaster recovery compliance via F5 integration.
Monitor post-deployment performance and maintain documentation for handover.

Key Skills & Experience
- Strong hands-on experience with Cisco ASA, Cisco ACI, and APIC environments.
- Proven track record in enterprise firewall policy deployment and troubleshooting.
- Expertise in configuring and supporting F5 GTM and LTM appliances.
- Solid understanding of network capacity planning and performance monitoring.
- CCNP / CCIE or equivalent industry certifications are highly regarded.
- Experience working within large-scale migration or data centre projects.
Familiarity with foundational automation tools like Python, Ansible, or Terraform is highly desirable.
