We are currently seeking a hardworking person to join our team as main delivery driver in full time capacity.
As a wholesaler of commercial furniture, we provide furniture deliveries locally within VIC and interstate to get products where they need to be. As our main delivery driver, you will take responsibility of driving and operating a company truck to complete deliveries.

Working days are at full-time capacity, with standard working hours of 7:30am to 4.00pm.
Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for completing daily duties, including:
Driving:
* Responsibly operating of one of the company's trucks (GVM <4.5T) for deliveries - locally and occasionally interstate (NSW/ACT)
* Optional: For larger jobs, operating and driving heavier trucks of GVM >4.5T is a possibility (e.g. Heavy Rigid license required)
* Following and completing the Operations Manager's delivery tasks for that day
* Assisting with loading/unloading goods from the truck in advance and on completion of jobs
* Contacting customers in advance of arriving to time-manage daily jobs
* Working with the assistant driver as required to complete deliveries
Required skills and attributes
* Experience in operating and driving a truck of <GVM 4.5T in a commercial setting
* Optional: Possess a Heavy Rigid (HR) truck license (or willing to obtain one)
* Able to work in a fast paced, deadline driven environment
* Physically fit and able to load/unload furniture items with tools and by hand for smaller items
* Must be able to work unsupervised at times and use initiative
* Demonstrated reliability, punctuality and commitment to work
* Honesty and fair worker who above all, treats others with respect
