Cafe Manager- Bondi Junction Westfield
Cohort Coffee Roasters is looking for an experienced and motivated Cafe Manager to lead our team at our busy Bondi Junction Flagship Cafe.
We're looking for someone who is hands on, confident leading from the front and passionate about delivering great coffee, great service and a consistently strong customer experience.
About the Role
As Cafe Manager, you'll take ownership of the day to day operation of the venue, working closely with our Operations team to drive performance, develop the team and maintain high standards across all areas of the cafe.
Key Responsibilities
- Leading, motivating and developing the cafe team
- Managing daily operations and service flow
- Rostering and labour management
- Maintaining strong customer service standards
- Stock control, ordering and waste management
- Monitoring sales, labour and COGS targets
- Recruitment, training and performance management
- Maintaining presentation, cleanliness and operational standards
- Working closely with the barista team to ensure coffee quality and consistency
- Building relationships with our regular customers and the local Bondi Junction community
About You
- Minimum 3 years experience leading a team in a cafe, hospitality or similar management role
- Proven experience managing a busy, high volume venue
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Good understanding of rostering labour and cost control
- Coffee knowledge and an understanding of specialty coffee
- A hands on approach and willingness to lead from the floor
- Strong organisational and problem solving skills
- A genuine passion for hospitality, people and customers experience
