Our company is a family-run earthworks, excavation and demolition business based on Sydney's Northern Beaches. We work on residential and civil construction sites across the Sydney area, and we're growing our team.
About the role:
We're looking for a full-time truck/plant operator to work alongside our owner-operator across a variety of residential excavation, demolition and civil jobs. You'll be part of a small, hands-on team where every day looks a bit different.
Responsibilities:
- Operate trucks and/or earthmoving plant safely and efficiently on site
- Assist with excavation, demolition and civil works as required
- Carry out pre-start checks and basic equipment maintenance
- Work safely and follow site instructions and safety procedures
- Support the team with general labouring tasks when needed
Requirements:
- Solid hands-on experience operating trucks and/or plant equipment
- Current driver's licence (essential)
- Reliable, punctual and safety-conscious
- Good communication and ability to work well in a small team
- Relevant tickets (HR/HC licence, plant tickets) highly regarded but not essential — right attitude and experience matter more
