Teachers Health is seeking an experienced Internal Recruitment Consultant to join our People, Culture & Capability team on an 18‑month fixed‑term full-time contract.
This role is responsible for delivering end‑to‑end recruitment for a wide range of roles across the organisation. You’ll play a key role in ensuring we attract, hire and onboard great people, while providing a high‑quality, seamless candidate experience at every stage.
Working closely with leaders across the business, you’ll ensure a smooth, engaging recruitment and onboarding experience from first contact to day one!

About us
Teachers Health was created by teachers for teachers over 70 years ago and is the only health fund exclusively for the education community. As a not‑for‑profit health fund, we exist solely for our members, supporting more than 500,000 teachers, education staff and their families.
What you’ll be doing
- Deliver end‑to‑end recruitment across a diverse group of roles, including job advertising, sourcing, screening, interviews, background checking, offer management and onboarding
- Partner with hiring managers to clarify role requirements, recruitment timelines and approaches, assessments, best practice sourcing techniques etc.
- Create stronger employer branding and candidate engagement activities whilst providing all administrative support for the onboarding process
- Provide regular updates to hiring managers and other stakeholders
- Work within established recruitment systems and processes
- Support recruitment‑related and broader People & Culture initiatives as required
What we’re looking for
- Experience in an internal recruitment or HR generalist role, ideally in a high‑volume fast-paced environment is essential
- Strong organisational and administrative capability, with excellent attention to detail
- Confident communication skills with the ability to influence and build strong relationships
- Experience managing multiple priorities and delivering to tight deadlines
- Solid MS Office skills and experience working with recruitment systems (experience using JobAdder is highly regarding)
- A proactive, self‑motivated approach with a strong focus on quality outcomes and teamwork
