About the Role:
No two days are the same. You'll be part of a professional team responsible for maintaining some of Perth's most valued public open spaces, including parks, playgrounds, streetscapes and recreational areas. Your duties will include:
- Maintain parks, playgrounds and streetscapes to a high standard
- Operate commercial landscape maintenance equipment safely and efficiently
- Conduct turf maintenance, edging, mowing and general garden care
- Assist in creating safe and attractive public spaces for local communities
- Identify and report maintenance and equipment issues to supervisors
- Deliver quality work that exceeds client expectations.
Essential Requirements:
- Commitment to safety and quality workmanship
- Full Australian working rights
- Manual driver’s licence
- White card
Highly regarded:
- Landscape maintenance or horticulture experience
- Parks & Gardens qualification
- Experience operating ride-on mowers
- Traffic Management qualification
- First Aid certification
- HR/MR licence
