Golden Free Range Eggs is seeking an energetic and reliable Poultry Farm Hand to join our team.
Appointment and remuneration will be based on skills, experience and training.
About the Role
This is a hands-on role across our free-range egg operation, including:
Poultry husbandry and flock care from day old chicks to layers
Egg collection, grading and packingFeed milling two ton per day and feed production
Skid steer and machinery operationFarm maintenance, welding and fabrication
Food safety and quality assurance
Point of Sale (POS) and customer serviceGeneral farm duties
Essential RequirementsCurrent Australian driver's licence (manual preferred)
Physically capable of lifting and carrying 25kg feed bags
High energy and strong work ethic
Ability to follow procedures accurately while thinking critically and solving problems
Reliable, safety-focused and willing to learn
Ability to safely work around machinery and comply with workplace health and safety requirements
Highly Regarded
Skid steer experience
Welding, grinding and fabrication skills
Machinery maintenance experience
Food safety knowledge
Agricultural or poultry experience
POS and customer service experience
