The French Lettuce Carlton is looking for a Barista / Customer Service person to join our team. We are a bakery, patisserie & cafe that makes all of our products in Carlton.
The role is 3 days per week. More hours can be provided as training progresses.
The tasks include:
- Cleaning
- Coffee Making
- Serving Customers Cakes
- Sorting Stock & Taking Orders in person and on the telephone
We are looking for someone who has good work ethic, leads by example in delivering great hospitality & is looking for a long-term role in hospitality where moments with customers are cherished. Our main goal as a business is to give customers a great experience whereby they have many fond memories of The French Lettuce & become long term customers.
The days of work available are Monday, Tuesday, Saturday - all flexible if other days are needed and the work time is 7am to 2pm or 9am to 2pm.
The French Lettuce is a family business where we provide a great working environment for everyone. We have been open at Carlton since the 1980s and have built a good reputation over a long period of time.

Pay: $33.00 – $45.00 per hour
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Carlton VIC 3053: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
Experience:
- Barista: 1 year (Preferred)
- Hospitality: 2 years (Preferred)
- Customer service: 3 years (Required)
Licence/Certification:
- Driver Licence (Preferred)
