Westbourne Grammar School is seeking a Records Manager for a full-time or part-time opportunity, providing strategic leadership and specialist expertise across records management, information governance, metadata, digital information management, archives, compliance and information risk. Working closely with key stakeholders, the role will lead the development of policies, governance frameworks, metadata standards, business processes and information systems that ensure records and information are secure, accessible, discoverable and effectively managed throughout their lifecycle.

This is an opportunity to play a key role in strengthening the School’s information governance and records management capability, while preserving its institutional history and knowledge. You will have the opportunity to shape governance frameworks, improve digital information practices and lead the preservation and development of the School’s archival collection, ensuring records of enduring value are protected, accessible and available to future generations.
About You
You are a records and information management professional who brings:
- Demonstrated experience leading records and information management programs within a complex organisation.
- Experience developing and implementing information governance frameworks, policies and standards.
- Sound knowledge of records lifecycle management, metadata standards, information architecture, retention/disposal and archival principles.
- Experience managing archival collections, including appraisal, preservation, digitisation and access.
- Experience with Microsoft 365, including SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive and governance tools such as Microsoft Purview.
- Strong project management, stakeholder engagement and change management skills.
- A tertiary qualification in Records Management, Archives Management, Information Management or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Professional discretion and sound judgement handling sensitive and confidential information.
- A current Victorian Employee Working with Children Check, or the capacity to obtain one prior to commencement.
